    Amy Winehouse, RIP

    July 24, 2011 by Bchwood

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment on July 23rd at age 27.

The troubled British singer launched to worldwide fame with her album Back to Black. One of her more famous songs of course, was Rehab, which featured the starkly defiant lyrics "They tried to make me go to rehab, I said no, no, no."

Winehouse was constantly in the tabloids for her drug abuse, mental health problems, and eating disorders. Her passing, while certainly tragic, doesn't exactly come as a surprise. The song was written by Brandon "Blue" Hamilton and the video apparently features clips of Black strutting the red carpet.

The singer is also putting the finishing touches on a five-track…

For those unfamiliar with it, the Lehman Collection is widely considered to be among the most important private collections of original manuscripts in the world- featuring the original handwritten scores of such classical greats as Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss and Webern.

Following initial reports from artsjournal.com of the pending sale, the Morgan remained mum on Tuesday. "It is accurate," said Patrick Milliman, a spokesperson for the museum. "But of course as an institution, we don't comment on these types of things."

The Lehman collection, first started by Robert Owen Lehman in 1968, is noted for its French ma…
