November 20, 2014: Time Will Pass by Sick Puppies
- Nominated by Tysunae.
- I nominated this song because before a couple of weeks ago, I had not even heard this song, and would not recognize the singer as Shimon Moore, the singer of Sick Puppies at the time, if the song was played on the radio. Recently the band has since lost Shim and Emma and Mark are now on their own. As the lyrics say, "Time will pass and you will corrode. You will not know which is the road or journey you're supposed to take," which I imagine must be what Shimon is feeling. Considering the lyrics in some of the songs by Sick Puppies (namely Pitiful and You're Going Down), I was surprised when people were surprised that Shimon was occasionally arrogant. It is for this reason that I give him sympathy; solely because nobody else will, and I know what that feels like. It has since become one of my favorite songs of all time and believe it should be shared so that perhaps someone else could share the same, or similar, story to me.
Preferred Date: November 20, 2014 (One month anniversary of Sick Puppies splitting up)

November 17, 2014: I Don't Need The City by Neuroticfish
- Nominated by Bryd0.

November 16, 2014: The Real Slim Shady by Eminem
- Nominated by AcePhoenix 007.
- Comedy hip hop at its finest right here. One of Eminem's best hits and a staple in the hip hop genre. The accompanying video makes it even more funny. November 09, 2014: Shrinking Violet by Mostly Autumn
- Nominated by Proganthony.
- This song is about the struggles one faces when growing up, and it has helped me a lot in hard moments. It also became a sort of running joke between me and singer Heather Findlay because she once promised to dedicate this song to me during one of the concerts, and in the past 10 years she always apologised after the show for forgetting the dedication (even though I also say she doesn't have to). But it shows what a lovely woman Heather is. No wonder she played the part of "Love" on Ayreon's "The Human Equation".
