January 30, 2018: Frozen Sleep by Malukah

Oltre il suo talento unico e la sua voce invidiata persino dagli angeli più belli, è l'unica persona che mi fa pensare che il mondo sia un bel posto, e la vita sia degna di essere vissuta.

The song is unique and uses a mixture of genres from different styles of music. Gorillaz have been creating nice styles and mix them with their styles. Different tastes of music from rock, rap, electronic, house and this song they mixed it with Jamaican styles and slang. Nice collaboration.

January 26, 2018: Bad Blood by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band

We Americans have a tendency to take ourselves way too seriously, especially when it comes to honor, guns and revenge. I think this song has a timely message for us all. Plus, it's clearly the inspiration for "Rocky Raccoon."

January 23, 2018: Shout by Tears For Fears

Although this song and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" were their only #1 singles in the USA, this song spent three weeks at #1 than the other which spent only two weeks, which makes it my favorite Tears for Fears song. This also pays tribute to the FOX game show, "Beat Shazam" which this was the song a team was able to identify correctly to win $1,000,000.

January 15, 2018: A Dream Goes On Forever by Todd Rundgren

We said goodbye today (August 9, 2017) at the cemetery to an aunt that had passed away. She was brought there to be buried with my uncle who had passed 20 years ago. The song felt very appropriate for the occasion especially with the lines "so long ago and far away" and "you'll never know how much I love you until you join me in my dream" and the thought of "a dream goes on forever" seems eternal as is the spirit.
