One of Rihanna's best songs, in my humble opinion, because of the awesome, meaningful lyrics. This song describes heartbreak, and having almost no hope. Mixed with a great beat this song is one of her best!

January 27, 2014: Silver Rainbow by Genesis

This ending year we're holding the 30th anniversary of the Genesis' record titled as them, 'Genesis'. Beside well known songs, there is a very good one that nobody will likely know. So this is a good chance to promote it.

With the intro I think this is one of the best live songs there is in modern heavy metal. Especially with the lyrics that are simple but meaningful.

January 21, 2014: Nobody Knows Me by Madonna

I believe that we are witnessing the rise of a modern day Messiah,as with the words Madonna enlightens, and in my case to the point of follow the rules of Kabbalah,so in other words,if you reflect upon the lyrics, and presentation of,you will realize how much effort Madonna has taken in "waking up" and in spiring souls.Johnny Oliver

January 15, 2014: Favoured by Planetshakers

I nominate this song because this song speaks of how favored we are. It speaks of how blessed we are because of what Jesus did on the cross.

It adores our God of who He is in our life; of who He is in us and who we are in Him.

January 12, 2014: Kleine Treue Nachtigall by Marlene Dietrich

Burt Bacharach was Marlene's musical director, arranger and pianist for a long time. But she never performed a Bacharach song - except this pretty German version of "Message to Michael".

January 11, 2014: In For The Kill by Skrillex

This song, originally by La Roux, is a great remix. Jackson's vocals work quite well with the beat that Skrillex makes. It is one of the songs that are bold enough to go past four minutes long, coming in at five minutes and eleven seconds. Its drop, which starts at a minute and a half in, compliments the chorus very well. All in all, this was a very well constructed song.

January 10, 2014: When There's Love by Keith Green

January 08, 2014: Mary Can You Come Outside by Christian Kane

I nominated this song because...of the story behind the song. It's a 'true story' of domestic violence. A woman who lived next door to Christian Kane was getting knocked about by her boyfriend.
One day, Christian went next door and beat the crap out of the guy. There are a couple of lines in the song that go like this; "Should I just sit here on these hands of mine one more time? Or should I use them to do what he does to you?"
-Christian went with the 2nd. option! [insert 'cheer' here] ;-)

January 07, 2014: The Old Black Crow by Colin Buchanan

I really like this song because it is bout an old black and what him and his friends do in this and it is a christen song that we can sing if we go to girls brigade or if we just want a song we can sing this song if we know the song with or with out lyrics or music.

January 01, 2014: Gethsemane (I Only Want To Say) by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice

One of the most recognizable songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, I think it's also one of the most powerful. The song is simple, but the building passion makes the ending so heartbreaking. Ian Gillan did a fine job on the original concept album, but Ted Neeley's version in the film is my favorite.
