February 27, 2018: Heart Full Of Holes by Mark Knopfler

Mark Knopfler knows what he's doing. Damn. Songs so different from one-another, they don't always resonate to your current mood, moment, setting in life... The music is always good enough and somehow unattainable when you try. Years later you find out how good actually some of them are. I love that. This is one of such. Enjoy.

February 17, 2018: Cornerstone by Day Of Fire

When I first heard this song years ago, I enjoyed it and thought it had a great message. I read that it was inspired by a tornado outbreak, which I found interesting at the time, but it really meant a lot more to me when, a few years later, I had a taste of how powerful tornadoes are when one hit my neighborhood, destroying many homes, some just a few houses down from us.

February 16, 2018: Gloria by Texas All-State Mixed Choir

The jubilant Gloria; a mass composed by the renowned French composer, Francis Poulenc; is the keynote piece of the Texas All-State Mixed Choir 2018. I nominate this as Song of the Day because, as one of the most advanced choral masterpieces any ensemble might ever encounter, it is emblematic of the intelligence, the contributed effort, and the resulting talent displayed by all of the young musicians who are invited to participate in an All-State ensemble. Happy TMEA day, everyone!

February 11, 2018: Get Up, Action by Digital Emotion

It's a great, quality song. Further, it's my childhood song and today I recalled my old memories after listening to this sound track. The robotic sound effect in this track is the best ever. I haven't listened to this type of song before. The most important thing of this sound track is that my daughter also likes this song.

February 08, 2018: Parting Friends by Word Of Mouth Chorus

We have traveled across the country to lay our kin, dearest Sally, to rest. Now we must travel back. Our fathers are of the greatest generation, and it occurs to me that we may never meet again on these mortal shores. Thus this song seems right appropriate.
