As I was out walking late one night
I turned the corner had a terrible fright
And I fell to my knees and began to pray
When a voice behind me began to say

*Kong scat*
(didn't understand a word he was sayin')

Well I ran back home and I fell on the floor
When I heard this knock knock knocking on my door
So I opened the door and turned on my torch
There I saw this thing was standing in the porch
And he said

*Kong scat*
(think I'll have a cigarette)

I said I guess you can't stay out there
So I brought him a drink, pulled up a chair
And he grabbed hold of me by the hair
And I said is there something you can do for me, I said yeah

He said yeah, and he said you can *Kong scat*
And I said you don't mean *Kong scat*
And he said no I mean I *Kong scat*
I said that's OK I can do a *Kong scat*
And I did *Kong scat to end*
