Thanks for the note on my talk page...

In giving Silver status to most of the songs I listen to/edit, I've been following the guidance on the Page Ranking/Songs page -- I read it as, to classify a song as Silver, the information that needs to be completed is type, featured artist, album, language, ASIN, and iTunes (in addition to song and fLetter, which are required for Bronze), in addition to the presence of a Watcher.

Anyway, my apologies. You are absolutely correct. There was quite a lot left to do on the "September" page (by which I mean time consuming) and it's a while since I visited the page ranking page, so I was going from memory. Well, I was trying to :-).

However, now that I have revisited the page ranking page and reviewed the requirements for Silver and Gold, I do feel that maybe the requirements for Silver should be upped. But you will know if/when this happens because there will be a post on the Community Portal talk page. Regarding this post in the Admin Portal, I'm quite sure clippings has keyboard shortcuts for clippings (CTRL + ALT + V then a letter), so you can use 26 on song pages without right clicking. Also, for Kiefer, on a PC, middle click on a link to open in a new tab OR hold ctrl while clicking to open in a new tab OR (at least in firefox) drag the link into the tab bar to open the link in a new tab.

Copy/paste is also available from the "Edit" menu and I'm pretty sure every other entry in the right-click has an alternative (some slightly longer, others quicker anyway). Hope that's helped ♫ LYRIC-Humbug ^words♪_deeds ☘ Something For Nothing 15:55, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry Chris, I don't really know what the correct word is, I just don't think it's outsourcing. 6 would probably know. But you made yourself understood which is the most important thing. Talking of which, I noticed a post about misunderstanding (on Senv's talk page I think) and I just wanted to say that Senv does extremely well in making himself understood but sometimes he struggles to to find the right English words (or just plain gets them wrong). Now as I recall this (and my warped sense of humour) led to a few misunderstandings between us when he first came to the site. But not anymore. So here is a tip. Senv is a great guy as you know. He is always extremely polite and respectful. So if there are two possible ways to interpret a sentence, always opt for the one that fits his personality.

'Outsource' is mostly used for obtaining stuff from an outside source, so User:Redxx outsources the chess game from User:Redxx/Chess but moving the chess game to User:Redxx/Chess wasn't "outsourcing". Hee hee, thank you :) Just for the records, outsourcing in English means to get content from sources stored/kept somewhere else, whereas outsourcing in German means the active progress of splitting anything into a core and another thing which then exists on its own.

An example: banks often "outsource" their IT business departements to concerns specialised on maintaining IT-systems of banks instead of employing their own developers and administrators. A bank going to part from their IT-sector which is split into an independent firm would be spoken like: "Die Bank plant, ihren IT Sektor zu outsourcen." Sounds strange for your ears, doesn't it? Oh Red, you really miss something very funny hearing any German "Business Manager" talking about once being employed as a "Human Ressource Manager" for the "Service Points" of "Deutsche Bahn" (slogan: Mobility network logistics). If you look at the old revision of this page you will see that the "SOTD" heading doesn't have an edit link because it's not actually it's own section. What I've done in this edit is changed "{{SOTD Notify" to "{{SUBST:SOTD Notify" which means the template on this page will be replaced by the actual wikitext that the template generates. I found the lyrics here BUT I could see there were a number of discrepencies so I listened to the song a number of times and transcribed them myself. So with your efforts, my efforts, Mr. IP's efforts, and your subsequent corrections (which I have checked), I think it's fair to say that LyricWiki is probably the very first site in the whole world wide web providing accurate lyrics for this song!
