Welcome to lyrics.wikia.com, LWChris!
(Thanks to Sean)

LyricWiki is a free, editable lyrics database that has over 1,922,976 pages of lyrics, albums and artists. Included in that database can be songs from any genre, country, or language imaginable. Whatever you are into musically, there is likely something here for you.

A good place to start is by checking out our FAQ and Help pages. The Formatting Artists, Formatting Albums and Formatting Songs are particularly useful sections. Another way to familiarise yourself with the way we do things here at LyricWiki is to look at some of the Artist, Album and Song pages with a Gold star StarIconGold in the top right corner.

If you need further assistance, you can leave a note on the LyricWiki Help Desk. The Help Desk is on the watchlists of the site administrators, so you are likely to get an answer fairly quickly. LyricWiki also has its own chat room, so you might also be able to obtain answers to some of your questions by asking the helpful LyricWikians that frequent there.

If you wish to make comments or suggestions about the site, or if you have any site-related questions, the best place to post these is at the Community Portal. The Community Portal is where most of the discussions about the site and planning goes on.

Important: LyricWiki breaks some of the usual capitalization rules for artists, albums, and song titles. Since this applies to all languages using the Latin alphabet, please be sure to familiarise yourself with our policy by reading LyricWiki:Page Names.

Have fun!

-- The LyricWikia team.

Ich Und IchEdit

I noticed on the above page that you capitalized the display portion of some songs. While the link portion needs to have all words capitalized, the display portion can be capitalized in whatever fashion is best suited to the artist. Usually this is based on whatever capitalization rules usually apply to the Artist's country of origin. As a German band, Ich+Ich would follow German capitalization rules, which I believe the page was following.    Kiefer    talk    contribs    admin   22:31, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Ringtone adsEdit

If you'd like, you can add your two cents to the discussion on LyricWiki talk:Ads‎, where I have placed my opinion already.    Kiefer    talk    contribs    admin   02:48, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Songs in multiple languages Edit

There has been no recent activity on this thread. Unless somebody has an objection, I'm going to go ahead and update the help pages and start work on pages that follow to reflect the discussion sometime Friday. As you were part of the discussion, I thought I would let you know.

I didn't want to ask 6 without checking with you first because I know you and tek have both worked hard on setting this up, but I feel the actual boxes holding the template info need to be more in keeping with the rest of the song pages. In view of which I would like to ask 6x9 if he could to sytlize the boxes a bit, see what designs he can come up with. Any objections?  Яєdxx Actions Words 19:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
