Went to metal festival yesterday and it was amazing.
- Highlights of the day for me were In Flames, Meshuggah, Mastodon, Slipknot and System Of A Down. There were loads of other bands I'd like to have seen but couldn't, due to the scheduling.
- Lowlight of the day: Marilyn Manson - stumbling, mumbling, wasted/drunk, spent more time lying down on the stage than standing up and had two minders pointing him in the direction of the crowd and trying to make sure he stayed on stage. Pathetic.
Amusing observations:
- Where is the queue to the women's toilets shorter than that of the men's? A metal festival!
- At one point, I saw a bunch of dudes walking around in red jumpsuits with white writing and barcodes, looking like Slipknot clones. It comes time for …

I've moved house, city, state... 2010 will have to go down as the worst year of my life. On the bright side, it can only get better!
Going to see Tool on 2 February 2011 and Rob Zombie (with Murderdolls and Monster Magnet) on 3 March 2011. First bands I've seen for ages and I am really looking forward to it.
