About me

Hi, mein Name ist Chris und ich bin seit über einem Jahr bei LyricWiki. Seit ich hier bin, hat sich in LyricWiki Einiges verändert, und ich bin auch etwas stolz darauf, dass ich teilweise dabei mitgemacht und -geholfen habe/daran Schuld bin: zusammen mit den Admins von LyricWiki und einigen anderen habe ich die Templates {{TranslatedSong}} und {{MultipleLanguages}} entwickelt.
Dies ist der Grund, weshalb ich dieses Template so gerne mag und daher des Öfteren Songs übersetze. Ein anderes Gebiet ist das serielle Aufräumen von LyricWiki indem ich z. B. ein paar einfach zu wartende Fehler-Kategorien regelmäßig abklappere und leere indem ich die Seiten repariere. Außerdem beschäftige ich mich von Zeit zu Zeit mit der Komplettierung von Informationen, aber dies ist meistens so viel Arbeit, dass man den Effekt kaum bemerkt, es sei denn diese Komplettierung betrifft z. B. die Top 100 Liste auf der Startseite.
Ich spreche Deutsch, schreibe aber meine Beiträge auf Englisch, damit mehr Leute sie verstehen können.
Ich hoffe, mir in Zunkunft vor Allem als Entwickler meiner LyricWiki Suite einen Namen machen zu können. - Noch mehr zu mir bzw. meiner Geschichte bei LyricWiki gibt es auf den englischen Unterseiten About Me und The Story Of The Chris zu lesen.

Hi, my name is Chris and I've been an editor here for more than one year now. Since I came to LyricWiki, many things have changed, and I am a bit proud to say that some changes were made with me helping/because I asked for them: together with the admins of LyricWiki and several other users I created the templates {{TranslatedSong}} and {{MultipleLanguages}}.
This is the reason why I like these templates so much, and to spread them around I translate songs from time to time. Another form of edits I do is doing serial edits, f. e. when I'm fixing some broken pages in easy to maintain categories. Furthermore every now and then I do some research to gather information to stuff the holes in LyricWiki, but usually this is so much work to do that you hardly notice the effect if it's not the creation of pages for the top 100 displayed on the mainpage.
I speak German, but I write my posts in English so most people here can understand them.

My biggest project is the LyricWiki Suite or shorter LWS. It's a bunch of tools that could be standalone programs, but I thought it might be useful to pack them into one single programm, so one download, one file, one icon and one unified GUI-appearance. Aufgabenbereiche / To Do's

Alle meine Bearbeitungen werden automatisch als "klein" markiert, weil dies meistens zutrifft. Deshalb kann es sein, dass einige andere Bearbeitungen (z. B. auf Diskussions-Seiten) auch aus Versehen als klein markiert werden, weil ich vergessen habe die Einstellung abzuwählen.
All my edits are automatically marked as "small" because that usually fits. That's why some other edits (e. g. on talk-pages) might as well accidentially be marked as small edit because I forgot to uncheck the option.

[edit] Einzelne Aufgaben / Single Tasks

Nachdem ich die Kategory Albums with cover but empty cover parameter zusammen mit SandBot (Bot), meinem Bot Botanic und zuletzt auch besonders Senvaikis mit seinem Lwt von vorher 9.989 Seiten geleert habe, habe ich mich kürzlich entschieden im "Aufräum-Sektor" zu bleiben und einige Kategorien zu warten und betreuen.

Früher hatte ich einige Künstler wie Enrique Iglesias, Patrice, One-T oder Novaspace als Projekte, aber ich habe mich entschieden sie abzusetzen um mich auf weniger recherche-bedürftige Aufgaben konzentrieren zu können. Trotzdem gab es in der Vergangenheit einige erfolgreiche Projekte (im nächsten Absatz aufgelistet).
Formlery I had some artists as projects like Enrique Iglesias, Patrice, One-T or Novaspace, but I decided to let them go to concentrate on work needing less research to succeed. However there were some successful projects finished (listed in the next section).
