[edit] "One of Eleven"
The correct lyrics here is "no longer living" and not "one of eleven." "One of eleven" doesn't make sense, where as "no longer living" does, as "Devon" was David Drainman's former girlfriend who committed suicide. --Lordebon 18:31, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
- While it should be noted that out of every 11 people who attempt to commit suicide, only one succeeds, which would explain why the lyrics are, correctly, "one of eleven" --— The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.83.125.81 (talk • contribs).
- Hmm, that is a valid explanation (I was not aware of that statistic). However, I find it odd that the Official Lyrics differ significantly from the album version, and I'm not talking about by a word or two -- those lyrics I linked differ by entire verses. I will change it back to "one of eleven" and "fill you mind" however since that technically is what the official lyrics say. --Lordebon 19:10, 28 June 2008 (EDT)
- I actually looked at it because I thought they were saying something about 9/11. It definitly sounds like he's saying the word eleven though, and one of eleven sounds right as I'm listening to this right now. I also updated the spelling from Devon to Devin, as that's what the official lyrics link says. Mdh 11:24, 26 July 2008 (EDT)
- I isolated the lines in question and listened to them on music reviewer quality headphones. Without any doubt he says "one of eleven" and "fill your mind again". His enunciation is crap most of the time, and he tends to nasalize or whisper consonants, notably in this song "F", "L", and "B". --Chroniclers 21:38, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] "Fire all your Desire" verse
This verse doesn't appear in the official lyrics linked here previously, and has always sounded a little off to me listening to the song. I recently bought the album off iTunes, and it came with a digital copy of the booklet which does include the lyrics, given here:
Fire for your desire
As she begins to turn cold for the final time
You will shiver, till you deliver
It is beyond your control, let it fill your mind again
With the exception of the last line, which was obviously changed in recording to "You will remember it all" as listed here, these sound much more accurate to me. I can supply a screenshot of the relevant portion of the booklet later today for verification if needed.
[edit] Video?
is a live video considered as valid? 'cause it's all I can find... -- GalakFyarr 11:03, 7 January 2009 (CET)
- It's less than ideal. It's supposed to be the official video, but when there is none, something else is "ok". ;-P --Åqüã†ìкí ƒΔΣ ¶ 14:54, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] True Lyrics...
Several issues.. It is indeed "One of Eleven" if you check their lyrics page (http://www.disturbed1.com/node/14734) Simple grammar error: "till" is what you do to land in farming.. 'til "until" cut down, I know it's a small issue, but it helps. :] The "Fire" verse, It is in the song, and after hearing the song for the 40023th time, I'm fairly sure the lyrics for that verse are correct.
