Talk:Cream:Crossroads

From LyricWiki

I think the lyric may be "You can still buy a house, baby, on the riverside." as opposed to the listed 'barrelhouse' lyric.

"Barrelhouse" is a common blues term, meaning a form of jazz played in New Orleans, or the "bawdy" places that played that form of jazz. From the usage, it also appears to be another way to basically say "party in a raunchy manner."    Kiefer    talk    contribs    admin   03:30, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
