ok ... I can patiently wait for the next to arrive
these cabs keep coming back from places I know just to stop at these lines
I count my coins, pull out my phone
was there something that I wanted you to know ?
I start to write and fall asleep to soon

could you drive me home again
could you take a turn to the park and buildings
where neon lights might wait
I wonder if we can still return to them

we're obviously alright
we are tired and out of sight

alright there are decisions to make from the passenger's seat
consequences of options I had, presents send orderly
the lights are all on, the city's asleep
what a beauiful picture showing you against me
and the mirror displayed of the thing that you won't gave me
