Sleeve noteEdit

Although the above sections have finite bounds the intention is that this piece be taken as a whole. It contains elements of internal incoherence, both musical and lyrical, but where these occur I hope that they are self-illustrative. By way of paradox the substance of the text here is of the impossibilities of language.

MusiciansEdit

  • Peter Hammill: vox, keyboards, guitar
  • Stuart Gordon: violin
  • David Jackson: saxophones, flutes
