The culminant song of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. As many have stated, this album is what made music be what we hear todays. It continues what the reprise of the title's song left, like the applauses. It starts with a casual day, an accident was reported as a man crashed his car and was left headless (this is constantly referred as the death of the real Paul McCartney. The one that we hear today is allegedly just someone trained to look like him. This has not been proved yet). Following an orchestral bridge in the song, the narrator informs that he went to see a movie. Another orchestral bridge later and John Lennon begins to sing about waking up late (Woke up, fell out of bed[...]looking up, I noticed I was late). Then, as the song draws to a close, the narrator reports of a shooting in Lancashire. Finally, the orchestra re-enters, tensing the environment, when a crashing piano finishes the album that made history. Audio on GoEar

Royal Albert Hall London May 2-3-5-6 2005 (2005) by Cream

The long-awaited Cream reunion was one of the most anticipated concerts of 2005. And it's got everything to satisfy even the smallest Cream fan, including hits like "I'm So Glad", "Crossroads", "White Room", and naturally, "Sunshine of Your Love". The concert also featured the first time the band had played the numbers "Pressed Rat & Warthog" and "Badge" live. It's hard to believe it's been almost five years since the reunion, but the album is still a classic in my collection.

The Wicked Cease from Struggling by Bull of Heaven

It's been a while since I've have some ambient / drone as Free Music of the Week, so I've decided to blow you guys out of the water. "How?" you may ask. Well, if you'll recall the first FMotW, it was a ~23 hour album, which is pretty impressive. However, I have, since then, found a few that have beat it. This week, we have an album of the week that lasts an ENTIRE WEEK. That's right, The Wicked Cease from Struggling is exactly 168 hours (1 week) long. So, start listening now, and you'll be done just in time to listen to next week's FMotW!

To download this song/album, you have to follow a few steps. First: download the forty-seven pieces of the file from here. Then, use a file-splitter (such as the free program HJSplit) to stitch these pieces together into one .mp3 file. Due to the large size of the file, it is difficult/impossible to play in some media players (for myself, iTunes took 30min to process/add the file to my library).
