Reason: I nominated it, because it pretty much tells my personal story. The song has some great lyrics and even though it starts slow and quiet, it becomes very powerful.

While Coldplay continue their legacy with another recent album, their first album still is one of the greatest debut album ever to be released from Britain. The entire album has a soft, somber sound that made me fall in love with it. "Shiver" ( Music video on YouTube) is a great example of such a powerful and emotional song that is extremely relaxing to hear. Their biggest hit from the album, "Yellow" ( Music video on YouTube), is a phenomenal song that is so beautiful and majestic to listen to. As Chris Martin once remarked, it reflects brightness, hope and devotion. The last song of the track is a personal favorite of mine from the band. "Everything's Not Lost" is such an inspirational song that can lighten up anyone's day and is a great song to close with. Overall, fans of Coldplay who wish to explore more of the Coldplay catalog must listen to this album to truly hear how this band started.
