- This song is a staple of new wave music. Morten Harket has an amazing falsetto voice, and the keyboardist is outstanding. I love playing this song in Rock Band 3, as well, mainly for the keyboard part. The music video was also ahead of its' time, creating many pencil-drawn effects via stop-motion.

- Throughout our day on our iPod, radio or television, we always encounter songs that tell a story or virtue with the lyrics sung. In fact, the vocals seem to be the main part of any song we hear. Yet, instruments are just about as important as songs with vocals. Woodpecker From Mars is such a beautifully crafted song with all the instruments working together to make breath-taking sound for the listener's ear. Faith No More captured my mind and heart with this song and I can't help tapping my feet to it. Everyone should experience this song with their eyes closed as the song guides them to wherever it goes.
