Our Job Exchange is a place where our users can file a request for edits which they cannot do on their own, either due to the amount of work (e. g. performing a serial edit), or because of missing userrights (e. g. editing a locked page). The Job Exchange is free to use for everyone.
How to file a new request
- Choose the template matching your request best
- Go to the linked documentation and copy the code provided there
- Come back here, edit the page and insert the code at the bottom of the page
- Fill in the required parameters which are highlighted red on the documentation pages
- The best is to use New Rq: <Job name> as summary, so admins will find it faster
- Preview and finally save the page
Tasks for the Job Exchange

- Batch Move (Move pages with a certain prefix to the pages with a different prefix instead)
- Edit Page (Edit a locked page, e. g. fix typos or change template values)
- Insert Album (Insert the album parameter for a huge number of pages)
- Redirect Page (Redirect one or more pages to a [new] target)
- Update Artist (Update the artist parameter in {{Song}}, likely after a batch move)

Note: In my quest to make all of Linkin Park gold I have stumbled up against Gracenote. Please help me make this song golden! Thanks. Also, this is the only song in all the Linkin Park songs I've seen that is blocked because of Gracenote. Can you make sure this block is actually needed? Admin: ChrisI think it is required, the takedown was only applied once; that wouldn't have happened if the song hadn't been on the list. Page: Linkin_Park:Dedicated Block reason: Can't move due to page already existing Note: I've really screwed up :/ I manually edited pages with copy/paste, remembered that was bad (because it loses its history), reverted and now I've got extra pages around the place. The long and short of my request is that: Linkin_Park:Dedicated needs to be renamed Linkin_Park:Dedicated_(Demo_1999) and Linkin_Park:Dedicated_(Demo1999) needs to be deleted. I see that an admin changed the name of the song from Dedicated (Demo 1999) to just Dedicated in November but I can't see why because it says Demo 1999 on the actual CD case as the name of the song. Usually, these suffixes are only appended to distinguish between different versions. However it's to be discussed how far this suffix is part of the official song name, because I can't find any reference to this song other than with the "(Demo 1999)" suffix, too. We should discuss it on the talk page.
