This page covers advanced integration with LyricWiki (such as using APIs) and more basic integration such as making links.

[edit] API

The API is in its early stages and right now is made for intelligently linking to artists. It provides functions for telling whether lyrics exist on LyricWiki given a combination of artist, album, or song names.

The full API will be set up as a SOAP webservice (it is not done yet). Please see LyricWiki:SOAP for documentation.

Once complete, you will be able to find some PHP code that uses the webservice in lyricWiki_tools.php and the documentation for that file in LyricWiki:lyricWiki_tools/Doc.
