Introduction

Sometimes things in the help section may not make sense, or you have a question that is not covered on the FAQ page and you need someone to ask.

Questions About Editing

If you have a specific editing question and you don't know where to direct it, you can leave a note on the LyricWiki Help Desk. This page is on the watch lists of the site administrators, so you are likely to get an answer fairly quickly. (Keep in mind that each administrator has certain skills and site knowledge, so if the question is fairly specialized, it may take a bit longer.)

General Questions

If you have a more general site-related question, you could also place your question on the Community Portal talk page, which is where much of the discussion about the site and planning goes on. Place your question at the bottom of the page under a brief, descriptive title.

Another good place to get an answer is on one of the talk pages of the site Administrators. Administrator talk pages are generally on the watchlists of the other administrators, so you are likely to get a fairly quick reply to your question even if that particular administrator isn't currently available.

Asking Another User

Leave a message on the user's talk page. A notice to the user telling them they have a message on their talk page will appear the next time he/she logs in to the site.
