Bad Company were an English blues rock supergroup founded in 1973, consisting of band members from Free (Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke), Mott The Hoople (Mick Ralphs), and King Crimson (Boz Burrell). The band enjoyed great success throughout the 1970s. The original band disbanded in 1982, only later to be reformed (in 1986), but with ex-Ted Nugent vocalist Brian Howe replacing Paul Rodgers as lead singer. Howe, however, left the band in 1994 and was replaced by ex-Distance vocalist Robert Hart. Paul Rodgers, "The Voice" as the media have called him since his days in Free, continues to enjoy great success, both as a solo artist and also in collaboration with Queen.
